(P*B PRESS ASSOCIATION. I WinaJHoioir, November Iff. The Btiway Department expects the traffic en the Otago Oentral Railway to be blocked by floods for about a week. It is probable the Premier, with the Hons. Carroll and Hall-Jones, will ' travel to Sydney for the Commonwealth inaiguration by the Tutanekai, accompanied by a Maori contingent. A larger vessel will be required for the mounted men. The Minister of Public Works left this morning for Stratford, m route to Auckland. The Agricultural Department is making good progress in combatting swine fever in the Auckland district, and hopes to have it completely stamped out at an early date.
