THE ROSLYN TRAM ACCIDENT.
INQUiibX. (PBU ASSOCIATION.) DraKDis, November 5. The inquest touching the death of the Chinaman op the runaway Roslyn tram wan continued, birt. after hearing evidence was adjourned for a week. To-day's evidence went in the direction of showing that the rop could be picked up at theplaco where the car .started;' that tha Chinaman jumped Off 1 the car and was not thrown off. The gripman and conductor gave evidence; as to the efficiency of the brakes at thej trial ofvthe runaway car made last Saturday, which was wet, when no! difficulty was experienced in pulling it. up when free of the rop. '
