The Premier has received the followiag cablegram frtm the High Oommisaumer at Capetown, dated 21st:— M Trooper John Screnson, New Zealand Bough Eiders, was killed at Zeerust on the 18th October. Treoper W. Scott died of enteric lever at Pretoria on the 19th October." Sorensen came from the Nwth-east Yalley, Dunedin, and Boott from Waipnkorau. The Premier has received a cable Oat G. Nelson, of Brabant's Morse, waa rtported dead in error; he is at !■ mm ii it with his regiment aai quite well.
