ENGLISH JUDICIAL APPOINTMENTS.
FSB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Received 18, 9.8 a.m. London, October 17. Lord Alverstone, Master of the Rolls, has been appointed Lord Chief Justice of England, in succession to the late Lord Kussell of Killowen.
Sir Archibald Levin Smith, Lord Justice of Appeal, has succeeded Lord Alverstone as Master of the Rolls,
