London, October 17, The elections are now complete, exsept and Shetland Islands, which at the last election returned a Liberal, The returns are as fellow;— 1 Unionists. Liberals: Hat'n'lists England.. 339 125 1 Wales .. 4 26 Scotland.. 37 35 Ireland ~ 21 401 186 83 The Times says the Government has 1 majority on the South African quesion of nearly 300, counting 82 avowed [iberal Imperialists, SIR WILFRID LAURIER ON FREE TRADE PER FBBSS ASSOCIATION. Received 18, 7.16 p.m. Ottawa, October 17. Sir Wilfrid Laurier, speaking at Doronto, agreed with Mr, Chamberlain hat Free Trade was the only basis for ;n Imperial zolverein, but the time was lot ripe for its fulfilment,
