FLOOD AT BLENHEIM.
IFU ram AMOOLMIOV.j Bliuhkm, October 18. The northerly weather and katn rain of tha last two days culminated last night in a "Taylor" flood, ti* heaviest experienced here for yean. It burst part of the upper portion of the town banking inundating the tewn. Very little damage waa done aa tiw shopkeeper* had ample warning. A washout, on the railway line, prevented the running of laat night'a train, but communication ia now raft* tared. I The water ia quickly subsiding.
