ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
| (PDB PBEBB ASSOCIATION.) i Auckland, October 14, A fatal accident oocurred on Saturday afternoon at a football match between the suburban teams Kingsknd and Mount Albert. During the play a young man named Wahei>Ohatffin. came into violent collision with another player. Chatwin immediately ran off the field and fell down in an unconscious state. Medical aid was summoned) but Ohatwin died in twenty minutes from the effects of the shook. While Alfred Reid and T, Hearne were working on the Crown Mine! tramway at Karangahake a big fall of I earth occurred, Hearne escaped with a few bruises, but Reid had his skull split open and was rendered unconscious. He was taken to the Thames Hospital, and is now in a critical condition. Wellington, October 14. The body cf a man named Woollans, employed by the Petone Woollen Company, was found on the beach at Kai-. warra. It had apparently been in the water two days.
