THE NEW POST OFFICE.
Mb. Bibb; has received a telegram from Mr, E, M. Smith, M.H.R., stating that the Postmaster-General informed him on Sunday that £4OOO had been placed on the Supplementary Estimate! for the new post office at New Plymouth. He added that he had seen the sketch plan, which showed that it would be a splendid building. Instructions had been given to the Railway Engineer to remove the earth from the section. The building is to be proceeded with as soon as the site is legally vested in the Government,
