Bidding was briskfor all classes of stoic c.ttle, and everything of this class sold well. Heally good springing heifers were in good demand, but small and inferior quality did not meet with much enquiry. Kat cows were keenly competed for and i made excellent prices. Cains made 14s to i LI 14s; yearlings, L2 Os 6d to L2 lis; 4- i year bullocks, L 5 3a 6d; store cows, L2'los ' to L 3 8s 6d; fat do, L 4 93 to L 4 13s 6d; < springing heifers, L 3 4s 6d to L 6; springing : cows (Mrs. Clegg's dairy) Lslss to L 6 15s. i The attendance was good at Mr. W. Cutfield's clearing sale at Tataraimaka on Thurs- 1 day, and bidding active throughout, more especially for the cows, heifers, and horses, J the former cattle being a particularly nice lot.
