EXAMINATIONS will commence on Ea TUESDAY, 4th December, 1900, for the following : Matriculation, Junior Scholarships, Medical Preliminary, Solicitors' General Knowledge and Barristers' General Knowledge. PLACES OF EXAMINATION : Auckland, Gisborne, Napier, New Plymouth, Wangauui, Palmerston North, Wellington, Nelson, Greymouth, Chriatchurch, Timaru, Oamaru, Dunedin, Invercargill. Candidates must send to the Registrar of the University, Wellington, signed with all their names in full, a list of the (objects in which they desire to be examined. Such notice must be sent on or before TUEBD AY, 23rd October, accompanied by the Examination Fee, or up to 30th OCTOBER, with a fine of Two Guineas extra to the Fee. Cheques must have exchange added, and Public Account Receipts or Stamps will not be accepted. FEES l For Matriculation, Medical Preliminary, or General Knowledge Examinations Two Guineas For Junior Scholarship Examination One Guinea (In this case a second guinea is payable if the Candidate Matriculates). Forms of Application can be had from the Registrar. Candidates must state distinctly for which examination they propose to enter. Candidates for Junior Scholarship must be not less than 16, and not more than 19 years of age ob Ist December. Fifteen Junior Scholarships, each of the annual value of £3O, and tenable for three years, are offered at this Examination.
