' 53sec.; Hautesse took half a second longer; St. Glare badly beat First Consul over a mile in lmin. 50|s3c.; Melodian did seven furlongs in lmin. 40sec.; Hautboy a mile and a quarter in 2min. 24|sees, beating Lord Budolph; the last mile was dene in lmin. 53|sec.; Gallina galloped a mile sin lmin. 51secs, owner admits he does not like the aspect of affairs, but hopes the favourite will pull himself together, Received 8,1.10 a.m. Sydnby, September 7.
