AUSTRIAN EMIGRANTS.
[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] : Received 3,1.15 a.m. Sidney, September 2. The Austrian Consul has interviewed Sir J. Lyne with reference to about 50 Austrians who reached Sydney en route to New Zealand but whom tho Shipping Companies refuse to carry to their destination. Sir J. Lyne cabled to Mr. Seddon who replied he had warned the Shipping Companies several times that they are tot allowed to land these men in New Zealand. The Austrians have money so there is no objection to their \ landing and remaining in Sydney. j
