The hearing of the charge agaiiui Walter George Williamson, of harinfi stabbed Frank Perrott, at Hitchett town, occupied the Poiiee Court toe greater part of to-Uay. The accused was committed for "rial and admitted to bail, lhe evidence showed that Williamson, when escorting two giiil home, was accosted by Perrott, and, after some words had passed between them, Perrott dealt Williamson a aertfca blow from behind, the accused tbaft swung round and struck Perrott, who shortly afterwards called out t an stabbed. The medical testimony wet to the effect that Perrott was now practically out of danger.
