[PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Received 29, 9.30 a.m.

Sydney, August 29. At the Anglican General Synod it was resolved to appoint a committee to set on foot a scheme for united action upon a large scale extending over a term of years, having objects such as clergy pensions, religious education, clergy training, and ehurch expansion. The committee is also to report whether it is advisable to obtain the co-operation of tha churches of New Zealand, Canada, and South Africa to work on parallel lines but in touch with each other.
