NEW ZEALAND CONTINGENTS.
FURTHER CASUALTIES. (Reeeived IS, 1.20 a.m.) Londok, August 14. Lieut. W. Berry, a New Zealander, died of pneumonia at Johannesburg, In engagements at Eland's River on the sth and 6th, Privates D. Robertson and R. Ranger, of the New Zealand Mounted Infantry, were slightly wounded.
Wellington, August 14. The Premier has received a cable from Sir Alfred Milner stating that Ferguson (No. 154) was slightly wounded at Eland's River, also LanceOorporal Robertson, of No. 11 Company (Auckland), Fifth Contingent. There is no Ferguson (154) and probably Farrier A. Ferguson of No. 15 Company (Otago) is referred to. Another cable states that Lieut. Berry died at Johannesburg. Private N. D. Robertson, of Wanganui, Third Contingent, has been sent to Capetown hospital.
No reply has been received to enquiries regarding Wildeblood and Upton. '
