An elderly man named Piflipatrick was murdered by the blacks who have committed the recent murder p. Fitzpatrick's nephew was absont from the house for a few minutes, and when he returned he found his uncle shot in the back and bis head split, and two blacks fleeing. .He fired, but missed them. A police magistrate reports that 'the j murderers have escaped to the mountains, and it will be impossible to follow on horseback. He advises that blsodhounds be employed to track them down.
