Japan, while announcing the despatch of a thousand Japanese troops to Tsientin, affirms her intention of acting in entire concert with the' other Powers. German reliefs have been landed at Tsientin. The Bozers have burned churches and missions at; Tientsin and Peking. French troops, with artillery from Tonkin, arrive at Tientsin on the 25th. BRITISH WARSHIPS UNDER ORDERS. (Received 19, 1.40 a.m.) Hong Kong, June 18. The Viceroys of Nan-king and Such&ag are fcakiug stringent measures to maintain order. The British warship Hermione has been ordered to Nan-king, the Linnet to Han-kow, and the Undaunted to Woo-sung. ADMIRAL SEYMOUR'S FOROES. |THE BOXERS MOVEMENT SPREADING. MORE OUTRAGES. THE POWERS HURRYING TROOPS FORWARD. London, June 18. The position of the forces under Admiral Seymour is precarious. Water is scarce and the commissariat is lacking. The Boxers' mwjment is spreading rapidly. The Times's correspondent, wiring via Tientsin, under Thursday's date, 'states that the Boxers, on Wednesday, burned a Catholic Cathedral, large buildings belonging to the London Mission, and the premises of the American Board Missions, together with all dwellings of foreign employees of the Customs Department. No Europeans were injured, but hundreds of native Christians and servants of foreigners were massacred within a radius of two miles of the Palace. Tne Powers are hurrying troops to Tientsin. It is estimated that they will ultimately pLce thirty thousand in the field. Troubles imvo broken out west of the river. Five thousand rubela are at Kweihsien. AMERICAN TROOPS ORDERED FROM MANILA. Washington, Juue 18. President McKinley has orderel the troops from Manila to Taku, oniag to the absence of news from Tien'si i.
