DEATH OF A NEW ZEALANDER.
Wellington, June 7. News has been received that B, Skerrett, younger brother of Mr. (J. P. Skerrett, the well-known local solicitor, was wounded at Faurensburg, (Jraugtt River Colony, on April iStii in an engagement with the Boers, and died on the 26th. Deceased left W ellingtou three years ago and joined the (Jape Mounted Police. His parents reside at Waipawa.
