+ THURSDAY'S MATCHES. Tue Senior Cup match between Star and Inglewood was played ac Fitzroy, and after a good game the town team were victorious by 3 points to nil. L, Allen scored the Star's try. Mr. P. Moore acted as referee. Star 11. defeated Inglewood 11. on the latter's ground by 14 to nil. Inglewood 111. suilered defeat by Tukapa 111. by the largo margin of 20 to nil. Clifton 111. defeated Star 111. by 11 to G.

The Native Roses and High school tried conclusions on the latter's ground on Thursday. The forwards of the former team were heavier than those of the High School, but were out-classed by the latter's backs, the game resulting in a win for the " High " by 20 to nil. For the winners Goodacre, Roope, Bewley, and Thompson were very conspicuous, whilst Edgecumbeand Bullock " blushed " for the Roses.
