[per pbkss association.] Wellington, June 6, A charge of firson against Sarah Jessie Buck, which was tried twice last sessions, with tha result that the jury disagreed each time, was tried again at this bitting. Counsel for tlio defence made a stioDg point of alleged blackmail, which he contended was wholly responsible for the chargo being brought. After two days' hearing, the prisoner was acquitted.
