[FBB PBESB ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, May 30. The adjourned inquest touching the death of Alfred James Boonstra, who died at the hospital kst Friday, was continued to-day. Consiablo Finnerty, who is charged with haviDg assaulted Boonstra by kicking him so as to cause him actual bodily harm, was in attendance. The depositions of the deceased, stating that Finnerty kicked him, were supported by the evidence of the deceased's companion, Maslem; but other \ evidence went to show that deceased *as walking about apparently all right some time after the assault is said to have been committed. The defence is understood to be an absolute denial.
