[PHB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received 16,10.20 a.m.) London, May 15. The Daily Telegraph states that 1000 German troops in April seized 3000 sq«are miles of Congo Free State territory, adjoining German East Africa, and extending to Rusizi River and north of Lake Kivu. Germany alleges that the Congo frontier is based on erroneous maps. An inquiry with regard to the disputed boundary is proceeding. Ik is reported that Bear-Admiral Moore succeeds Bear-Admiral Pearson in command of the Australian station. Received 17, 1.30 a.m. Sydney, May 16. The Government intend to introduce a Closer Settlement Bill somewhat nimilar to the New Zealand Act.
