TREATMENT OF INEBRIATES.
[PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Ciiiustciiurch, May 12. Tho Ilospital Board, with the nudical staff, interviewed the Ministor of Justice at the Il ispital on the question of admission of inebriate cases into the institution, and pointed out that there was no suitable accommodation for sunVi cases, and that there were only lad) nurses and no m ile attendants ti wait on cases of drunkenness. Tho Minister pointed out that there wore propsr conveniences at Iha police station, iuclud iugapidded cell and medic*! a'tend ance. It was very to have esses of delirium tremens nuiongst ordkary ho-pral patients. Inspector: McQovern had declined to send men requiring medic-sl treatment to :i paddod cell. Eveiyth'ng poiittel to the fact that tho Binto should provide some suitable institu'irn for such cases, (but nadir present circumstances the hospital was tho only place for such cases. Tho difficulty was not a local one, and he would seo what could be dono to meet tho difficulty.
