Melbourne, May 3. I A conference between Messrs. Crick and Watt, with regard to the Gape cable, resulted in an agreement between the two colonies, which Mr. Click, in jan interview, declared was satisfactory, and that there is little to fear but that; Parliament will ratify it. The attitude of the Eastern Extension Company towards tho decisions is not known, but Mr. Warren, who was in communication with the Postmaster-General by wire Ifrom Adelaide throughout tho conj ference, cabled the result to his Londcn OIEcD.
