A young half-caste Hori, aged about 21, was riding into Bui* haka on Saturday, when his hone stumbled and threw him. The hone was killed instantaneously, and Hori received very severe injuries about the bead. He was quite uaconsaions, and remained so until Tuesday morning, when ho passed away, Tbe native* refused to take him to the hospital or to call in a doctor.
