THE PRO-BOER EMISSARIES.

(Boceifed 26, 1.30 a.m.) Nsw Yoek, April 24,

Walsh and Nblson, who were arrested at Niagara Falls for attempting to dynamite the Thorold lock, were seen lighting fuses and lowering the explosives. The gates of the lock were badly sprung, but re-settled firmly, preventing a devastating escape of water. Some authorities believe that Buffalo grain shovellers instigated the outrage, in order to prevent the diversion of the trade through the Canal.
