Sin, —A somewhat peculiar mistake occurs in a paragraph in your issue of this morning, referring to tho adjournment by the S.M. of a charge of Sunday trading made by a police constable against Mr. R. H. Cainoball. " Mt. s Weston, who represented the defend- : ant, and who was also instructed by i Mi'. Mr. Weston, whon stating that . :>e appared for tho defendant, only addud that ho was instructed as counsel by mo. Mr. Campbell is one of my clionts, and, as my business engagements preclude mo from undertaking casea which necessitated my atteudiu" local Courts, I sacured for him the services of Mr. Weston. You arc quite incorrect iu dragging in tho name of the Licensed Victuallers Association—for which, by tha way, I do not act, .iijd havo not acted for several years pist. That Association has no more light to bo represented at tho hearing jf such a ohargo in a Court of Justice than has, for instaucj, an Association for the propagation of Prohibition.
