A DESTRUCTIVE FIRE IN SYDNEY.
SEVERAL FIREMEN INJURED. [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received 12, 9.55 a.m)
Sydney, April 12. A large fire occurred this morning, partially destroying Love & Company's, tea merchant?, warehouse. A falling wall and an explosion injured seven firemen, one, named Howard, seriously. Che contents of the warehouse were valued at £24,500.
HEAVY INSURANCES. 1 Received 13, 9 p.m. I Sydney, April 13. I The insurances on Love & Co.'s stock | md building were £20,000, the New Zealand and National having £3OOO each.
