ANNUAL MEETING OF HOUSEHOLDEES, I rPHE Annual Meetings of Householders for I X the election of School Committees will be held in the several School Districts, at the places stated below, on MONDAY, April 23rd, at the hour of 7 p.m., for the purposo of electing duly nominated persons as Members of School Committees for the ensuing year, as provided by Section 5 of " The School Committees Election Act, 1891." The number of persons to be elected for each district is as follows: Pukearuhe, Tongaporutu, Mangorei, Tarata, Huiroa, Carrington Road, Whangamomona, Hurford Koad, Tataraimaka, Waihi, Ratapiko, Uruti, Durham Koad, Pungarebu, Uatau, and Pohokura, each five (5) persons. Ngariki, Rowan Road, Mahoe, Opunake, Eltham Road, Oaonui, Rahotu, Okato, Frankley Road, Fitzroy, Bell, Waitara, Tikorangi, Urenui, Lepperton, Huirangi, Kaimata, Tariki Road, Midhirst, Salisbury Road, Stanley Road, Pembroke Road, Toko, Ngaire, Bird Road, Cardiff, Kent Road, Omata, Oakura, Eaiauai, Denbigh Road, Egmont Village, Mangaere, Warea, and Dudley Road, each seven (7) persons. The election to be held in the respective schoolhouses. Kent Road election to be held in the Lower Kent Road Schoolhouse; Bell, in the Bell Block Schoolhouse. New Plymouth, Inglewood, and Stratford, each nine (9) persons. New Plymouth election to be held in the Town Hall, New Plymouth; Inglewood election to be held in the Schoolhouse, Inglewood; Stratford election to be held in the Schoolhouse, Stratford. Nomination of Candidates. Householders of the various School Districts are hereby requested to send in to the Chairman of the School Committee in their District the names of persons, being Resident Householders, nominated by them to serve on the Committee for the ensuing year. The nominations must be in writing, signed by the proposer and candidate, and sent to the Chairman of the School Committee on or before MONDAY, April 16th, 1900, not later than 8 p.m. Nominations may also be made at the Meetings of Householders to bo held on MONDAY, April 23rd, 1900.
