SALE OF HOTEL IN THE TOWN OF STRATFORD IN THE PROVINCIAL DISTRICT OF TARANAKI KNOWN AS " THE STRATFORD HOTEL."
TENDERS are invited by the Public Trustee for the purchase of the fee simple of I Lot 1. All that piece of land containing 3 roods, more or less, being sections numbered 330, 407 and 408 on the plan of the ! Town of Stratford, on which is built the hotel known as "The Stratford Hotel." The hotel contains twenty-three rooms. This property is sold subject to a lease dated the 2nd day of February, 1893, to J. , Staples and Company (Limited), for a term of seven (7) years, commencing from the 18th December, 1895, at a weekly rent of £7 payable by equal payments of £BO 6s Bd, on the first Monday in each month. The lessees have sublet the property, and it is now in the occupation of James Williams, who is the licensee. Lotl 2. All that piece or parcel of land containing three roods, being the sections numbered 789, 800, and 831 on the plan of the said Town of Stratford. The title to the above land is under " The Land Transfer Act, 1885." Particulars of the above properties and terms of the above lease, and the terms and « conditions of tender, title, conveyance and otherwise subject to which the property is offered for sale, can be obtained at the office ot the Public Trustee at the City of Weilington, or at the offices of his District Agents in Auckland, New Plymouth, Wanganui, and at the Post Oflico at Stratford. Tenders must be sent to the Public Trustee s Office in the city of Wellington not later than FRIDAY, the 20th day of April, 1900, and each tender must be accompanied by a Bank draft or a marked cheque in favour o£ the Public Trustee for a deposit of £25 per cent, of the purchase money, which will be returned if the tender is not accepted, lorms of tender will be supplied upon application to the above offices. The Public Trustee shall be under no obligation to accept the highest or any 1 tender. ' Separate tenders must be sent in for the separate lots. Dated this eighth day of March, 1900. J. 0.
