Mrs. Liwson rushed oat, leaving the baby. The residents did not dare approach Handcock's till the morniDg.. , Lawson was found dead, but tie baby safe. Handcock had gone. While the i(.quest was proceeding, Handccck walked into the room carryI ing his rifle. He did not resist arrest. The man is believed to be insane.
