DRUIDS' SOCIAL

The annual social and dance given by the Druids at the Foresters' Hall on Thursday evening proved a most enjoyable affair. The number present made dancing a pleasure, as although the room was well tilled it was not overcrowded. The floor was in perfect condition, thanks to the efforts of Mr. J. Harvey (the secretary) and his coworkers, Messrs. Hobbs, Veale, Phipps, and E. P. Lister. The music having been entrusted to Mr. McKinnon Bain ensured that it would be all that could be desired. The supper was provided by Mr. Lealand and was highly appreciated. Everyone present seemed bent on enjoyment, and the Committee, who spent so much labour to promote the success of the entertainment, should be gratified that success crowned their efforts.
