■» [PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.I Received 5,1.40 a.m. London, April 4. In the Houso of Commons, Mr. T. C. H. Hedderwick, M.P. for the Wick Burghs, moved that the colonics should have some direct representation in the British Parliament. The Itight Hon. J. Chamberlain replied in a masterly survey of the | complete problem. He said it was ■ impossible to act' on an abstract resolution in the absence of an authoritative colonial demand, and that, moreover, the resolution was at variance with the Federal system proposed. The motion was withdrawn. i
