The Chronicle states that 400 Free Staters threaten the railway line near Jacobsda], Reuter's agent states that a strong force of Boers has re-occupied Ltdybrand, whenco it is inferred that their retreat upon Kroonstad has been intercepted. Major-General Clements bis occupied Jagersfontein and Fauresmith unopposed, receiving a cordial welcome from the inhabitants. The Boer version of their movements is that Commandant Olivier's column has joined with Qrobler's and Lemmer's commandoes, and thai their entire forces will effect a junction with De Wet's to oppose Lord Roberts near Winburg. General Clements has appointed new magistrates at Jagersfonteinand Fauresmith. A LARGE FORCE OF REBELS. DISCOVERIES IN BOGUS GRAVES. (Received 30,1.30 a.m.) London, March 29. Eight hundred rebels are entrenched at TTpington. A grave at Dronfield was found to contain 73 cases of dynamite. General Clements found a ninepounder Maxim in a well at Kaffyfontein, and three loads of ammunition in alleged graves. MOVEMENT OF A BOER FOROB. BETWEEN BLOEMFONTEIN AND KROONSTAD. (Received 30,1.34 am.) London, March 29. Commandant Grobler, with 6000 men from Colesburg, is midway between Bloemfontein and Kroonstad.
