THE WILD WEST SHOW.
On Thursday evening, Broncho George's Wild West Show opened a season on Poverty Flat, when the large marquee enclosed a very large and appreciative audience. The company comprises some eighteen performers. Broncho George will be remembered as haying visited New Plymouth some nine years ago with Wirth Bros', great Circus and Wild West Show, of which he and Captain Jack Sutton were prominent members. The performance given on Thursday evening consisted of a romantic drama in three acts, entitled "Prairie Life," in which songs and dances of exceptional merit were introduced. Broncho George also gave a wonderful exhibition of horsemanship, his lassooing work being excellent, and he proved himself a model cowboy. The ocher performers! were Miss Polly Robertson, Sid Luelia, Chevieller, Mr. Harry Burnett, Miss Fiorrie George, Miss Eosie Jervois, Mr. George Hewitt, and Mr. Fred Farreii. There were also lha attendant scouts and Indians, and the whole performance was thoroughly life-like and exciting. The performance will be repeated this evening, when there should be a large attendance, this being positively Ihe last of the Company's stay.
