(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) I Chbistchurch, March 29. j Jeremiah Hogan, who was injured by a fall from a cart at Southbridge, died in the hospital. Auckland, March 29. Walter Lovel, a cook at a hotel in Hamilton, has disappeared mysteriously. He is a middle-aged man, and is supposed to belong to Auckland. The police are investigating the case. The year-old son of Mr. S. J. Bradley died at Whangarei from lock-jaw, the result of an accident while riding on a waggon. The child fell off one of the wheels, and received a severe scalp wound, which led to tetanus.
