A start is being made to manufacture serum locally, but it will take some months to produce it. The Archbishop has if sued a special prayer for deliverance from the plague, which will be r<ai in all Anglican Churches, A man named Hayncs, a resident of Quay-street', has been attacked by plague. He worked in Sussex-street, | (Received 24, 3.16 p.m.) I Sydney, March 24. ! A post mortem in the supposed case of plague at Suirey Hills showed that death was due to heart disease, (Received 25, 6 p.m.) Sydney, March 25. A man named Jordan, residing in the infec'el area, has been quarantined, and the case is suspec t;d to be one <f plague.

One death has occurred in quarantine, viz, Haynes, The Premier has decided to quarantine any warehouse where an outbreak of the plague occurs.
