(Received 20,10.5 a.m.) London, March 19. The trek of rebels from Taunga and Yryburg to Damaraland vas prevented by a Hottentot chief, son of|Witbooi. A British warship has landed [men and guns at Walfisch Bay as a precaution against the Boers entering Damaraland. There are many complaints of bad boots in Lord Roberts' army. Capetown, March 19. As a sop to the Afrikander Bond Mr. Schreiner hat prohibited jubilant demonstrations being held over British successes unless they are authorised.
