SUICIDE NEAR PALMERSTON.
[PEE PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Palmekston North, March 19. About 12 o'clock on Saturday night Richard Holly, aged 50, a settler in the Awahou Block, Pohangina, committed suicide by shooting himself with a rifle. It is alleged that Holly had a [quarrel with his son, after which he performed the deed. The police report that there are no suspicious circumstances in the case. An inquest is ! being held to-day.
