SOUS OF GATAORE'S PRISONERS ARE TRANSVAALERB. (Received 20, 1.51 a.m.) London, March 19. lieot.-Oeneral Gatacre captured 24 waggons, two engines, and a quantity of ammunition at Springfontem. Some of his prisoners are Transvaalers. Colonel Price, of Victoria, fell into a spruit and broke a rib, but has reeovered, Boer deserters brought a Maxim nine-pounder to] Belmont. Another nine-pounder was brought to Oolesburg. The British Cavalry hold Thabanchu, midway between Bloemfontein and Lady brand. The rebels at Vosberg threaten Victoria West. The Boers hare quitted Windsorten, tin prize-fighter Holloway, their adjutant, blowing up the bridge. NEW ZEALANDERS IN ACTION. London, March 19. The New Zealanders, under Major Robin, repelled an attack on a convoy at Driefontein. RECOVERY OF CAPTURED BTORES. (Received 19, 9.5 a.m.) London, March 18. A portion of the stores taken when a British convoy was recently captured by the Boers at Riet River was re covered at Bloemfontein. Hunter Weston's feat of traversing the Boer lines saved 26 locomotives from being carried off. A skirmish has taken place in the vicinity of De Beers.
