THE DALEY BANKRUPTCY.

[PBB PBK33 ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, March 1. At the Supreme Court, Charles Qrant Daley was charged with breaches of the Bankruptcy Act(l) Failing to keep books, (2) concealing property, (3) disposing of property otherwise than in tho ordinary way of trade, (4) giving undue preference to Joseph Ehrmann, a creditor. Prisoner pleaded guilty to three charges and not guilty to the fourth. Mr. Tole siid the object of bringing Daley before the Court was to get his pleas and release 22 witnesses and thus save expense. His Honor dispensed with the witnesses in the cases in which Dalty plaided guilty, and stated that the hearing of tbt other case would not be taken before Monday.
