General French elsewhere captured 75 Boers, while a patrol to the westward ciptured 30. President Krug;r clums that communication with (Jronja is not severed. Advices recaivad from Pretoria state that fightiug is going on around Petrusville, and a'so near Kimborley, but tha.t the result is still doubtful. Dr. Lsyds affirms that Cronje has broken through the British cordon,
