[PUB PBHSS ASSOCIATION.] j Received 24, 9.35 a.m. Loudon, February 23. News has been received that five hundred Chinese attacked a party of British explorers, escorted by 75 Ghoorkas, between the Irawadi and Salween .Rivera, on the Indo-Chinese frontier. The attaekers were repulsed with a loss of 75, including their leader. Six of the British f vce were wounded.
