Hill-Trevor, A.D.0., arrived at r the Breakwater, en route to Auckland. v As the party preferred waiting at the -) wharf than at the Manukau, the vessel g was brought alongside. It fortunately r happened that tbe members of the h Harbour Board had arrived a short :l while previously, and were invited on 0 board and introduced to His Excellency. h Shortly afterwards, in accordance with e his desire, Lord Rinfurly was shown Q over the Freezing Works by the Ohaii - * man of the Company (Mr. J. B. t Connett), and expressed himself well » pleased with the arrangements there'. '• Mr. Connett was also able to point out e to His Excellency the vast amount of dairy produce passing through the works, and the great bent fit they were to the district, Subsequently Lord Eanfurly visited the Petroleum Workf, under the guidance of Mr. Newton - King. The Tutanekai remained at the wharf till about 8 o'clock, when the Governor and party proceeded to One- '" hunga.
