L, Kennedy, of Toko. He is a ' good man for the office. He takes a keen interest in these matters, and having both time, talent, and means at his disposal, he would make a good member, and one who would oarefully watch the interest of the country schools. I am sorry to learn that W. McKay was rejected from the Bough Riders at the last test. To fail in the riding test was unexpected, especially for a Taranaki boy, but I believe the horse was in [fault. .
