ROBSON'S KINEMATOGRAPH.
The Theatre Royal was well filled on Friday evening when Mr. Robson gave one of his popular lime-light and kinematogranh entertainments. The intelligent interest displayed by the ve y large number of young people during the first part of the programme was most creditable. The pictures, especially the coloured series, were quite up to the high standard of those shown on previous occasions, and the explanatory matter was concise and instructive. But it was the kinematograph part of the business that all present looked for with eagerness, and certainly the results attained justified expectation. All were thoroughly good, and many were highly amusing—those illustrating a costume race and a steeplechase being received with tremendous applause. There is no doubt entertainments of this kind, when carried out with the artistic finish which Mr. Robson provides, are enjoyable alike to youpg and old, and the exceptionally large audience attracted on the occasion must have been very gratifying to the entertainer. The entertainment will, by special request, be repeated this evening, when entirely new pictures will be shown.
