THE CABLE QUESTION.
[PES PEE3S ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, February 8, The Premier has sent the following cable to the Postmaster-General of Victoria: "2\e\v Zealand considers the acceptance of the Cape cable scheme a breach of faith in connection with the Pacific caole arrangement, seeing that it must reduce the earnings and increase the liabilities."
