NEWFOUNDLAND'S SERVICE.
[PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received 8, 140 a.m.) London, February 7. Mr. Chamberlain in thanking the Newfoundland Government for renewing the modus vivcndi in connection with the French shore fisheries, said their action was serviceable to Imperialism equally with Canada's and Australia's offers of contingents.
