SOUTHLAND HARVEST PROSPECTS.
[PER PEESS ASSOCIATION.] Invekcargill, February 7. The weather still continues unsatisfactory for ripening of cereals. The rainfall is not great but the sky is frequently overcast, while the temperature is low—there has already been two sharp morning frosts. Oats aro quite green and thera is no talk of the approach of harvest from inland districts.
