An old identity is dead in the person af Mrs. J. R, Cren, aged 74 years, who died at Ruatangata, Whangarei. The deceased arrived in the ship Duke j of Roxburgh, at Wellington, in 1840. Wellington, January 25.

Dr. France, an old identity here, died to-day from affection of the heart, ostat 75. The deceased medico arrived here in 1854.
